Taranaki v Waikato representative update

Waikato hold a slender lead over Taranaki after three rounds of the representative fixture were completed on Saturday, September 5. Two further rounds will be played on Sunday. The men are playing at Frankton Junction and the women at Paritutu. This is the third year that the two centres are competing for the Ron Buchan Plate, named after one of the most decorated names in New Zealand bowls. Ron played in both Taranaki and Waikato, was a New Zealand Life Member and a World Champion.
