Bowls Taranaki along with Parafed Taranaki run Adaptive Bowls for people with disabilities. This is held at the Indoor Stadium at Paritutu. For more information and when the next session is on, please contact Parafed Taranaki.
Have-A-Go Day
Each year Bowls Taranaki with the help of the Taranaki Secondary School Sports Association, run a Have-A-Go Day for school children with disabilities. This is held at the Indoor Stadium at Paritutu.
Para Bowls
Lawn Bowls is a great sport for people of all skills and abilities. Bowls Taranaki encourages people with disabilities to play bowls. There are national organisations for Deaf and Blind Lawn Bowlers and Para Bowls New Zealand held their National Tournament for 2023-24 at Paritutu in New Plymouth.
