Collections
The museum holds over 9000 items of Lawn Bowls memorabilia and objects of historical interest. These collections include items from all around New Zealand and date back as far as the late 1800’s.

There are many items in their collections, these include Medals, Trophies, Cups, Badges, Uniforms, Clothing, Photos, and Bowls from the very early days of Lawn Bowls in New Zealand.

We would like to thank Teena Foreman for her great work as curator for many years. The museum is now currently looking for a curator. If you are interested in the position please contact the Bowls Taranaki Centre Office. This could be a rewarding position for the right person and hours are flexible.
The Museum is located next door to New Plymouth Bowling Club in Dean Park at 157 Brooklands Road in New Plymouth.
